Mars

an Ode to a Star by Raquel Swann

Mars, so sensual, so sexual.

Extremely beautiful, highly intellectual.

Many adore, many admire

Mars, the object of lustful desire.

Mars, so exciting, so erotic.

One look at you is like a narcotic.

If sweet innocence is what you seek

Mars will render you unable to speak.

Mars, believe me, Mars call my bluff

I fear a trip to the moon will not be enough

My feelings about this can not be undone.

Mars, not the fourth planet away from the sun.

Mars, so amorous, Mars so glamorous

You have delightfully devilishly enamored us.

You can offer me money, or offer me a trip.

I’d much rather have one flight, just one night, on your rocket ship.
