My Life Without You

My Life Without You

a Poem by Raquel Swann

Before I met you

I was free

Come and go as I please

No one to hold me down

Nights out with the girls or boys

Meeting new exciting people

Before I met you

I had no definite plans

just made it up

as life came my way

and oh what a life it was

Druken Nights

Beach Days

Steel Drum Bands

Margaritas by a pool

Headaches in the morning

No sharing the remote

Dinning at my favorite places

Off to the mall

Shopping for me!

I never knew how lonely

I was until I met you.
