Anger

Anger

a Poem By Raquel Swann
I hang by a string

As a puppet

Dancing

Entertaining

Waiting for the universe

To guide me.

What the hell do you want?

Why me? Why now?

Where were you

When shadow and despair

Fell upon me?

Codes and passwords

Indecipherable

By scholars

Nor elite hackers.

You expect me to comprehend?

I long for days where life seemed

Simpler within the boundaries

Which were set by those

Who decided how ordinary

I should remain.

As my emotions come

To a furious boil

I ask once Again

What do you want?
