a Poem by Raquel Swann
You are my moon,
the unreachable beauty,
hanging in the sky,
reminding me most nights,
you’re still there waiting.
You are my moon,
changing the tides,
the highs, the lows,
drowning by your light.
You are my moon,
showing me a little more,
every night I until,
you’ve vanished,
I can’t wait another day.
